About ASN Roadshow
Since 1991, AMIA members have shared clips from their archival collections at their annual conference. It has been an opportunity for archivists to share with each other and to showcase recent acquisitions, discoveries, and preservation efforts.- many of the clips never seen in public.
The ASN Roadshow is a chance to open the archive doors and share a sample of the magnificent spectrum of film and video collections protected and preserved by the AMIA community. It is also a chance to highlight the work being done to ensure that our media heritage is available now and in the future – from home movies to blockbusters to local news to educational films to eyewitness videos to cultural recordings.
We’re particularly proud of the diversity of content and formats represented and the opportunity to showcase treasures that are culturally and historically significant.
